“The staff were very helpful and gave excellent restaurant suggestions. We appreciated the clean room.”

“We had an easy time checking in and the room was clean upon arrival. There was a smell on the floor that we stayed in, but it wasn’t consistent throughout the hotel. Breakfast area was clean and restocked consistently. We would have preferred longer breakfast hours.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip! The healthy complimentary breakfast was very good, which we enjoyed at one of the picnic...

“Very dirty hotel. The carpet on the floor hadn’t been properly hoovered before our check in and there was dirt / dust / stains all over chairs and other surfaces. The room unfortunately smelt of smoke (even if it’s not allowed to smoke there apparently) and the sink in the toilet was missing the knobs. Overall a terrible hotel. The only ok thing was the bed. Not uncomfortable and decent bedding. Also - the personnel at check in was very nice and helpful :) ”

“Stairs are steep. Room has brown indoor outdoor carpet that feels sticky. Room was wallpapered with paper that appears old and is coming apart. Shower curtain was too big and hung on shower floor. Yuck Breakfast was in a small hall area that wasn’t being attended. The good was free parking”
